More ABOUT
Carrie

My first daughter went through ISR in 2017 and it was the most rewarding experience to see her swimming across the pool at 20 months old. My first son was skilled at 9 months old in 2019. My second daughter was skilled around 9 months old as well in 2021. My last son was skilled just over 6 months old in 2023. It will give you such a piece of mind knowing they are safer, skilled and able to self-rescue in and around a body of water. The biggest thing to remember is no child is drown-proof though. Constant supervision and layers of protection is best!

My family moved to The Woodlands in August 1999 from Pittsburgh, PA. I went to The University of Houston and coached gymnastics for 6 years. I then received an offer to sell high end decorative Plumbing, Hardware & Appliances. I was in sales for 12 years before my daughter’s ISR Instructor reached out to me to consider applying with ISR. My husband, who is beyond supportive, thought I should go for it. It was perfect timing as I was just about due with our second child, our son Tatum. We have four children, Teagan (almost 10), Tatum (6-1/2), Kinley (almost 5) and Kalloway (2-1/2). I also have a love for boxers, unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our sweet Sadie Girl the beginning of February in 2020. We lost our boy boxer, Patches, in December 2017 but he will forever remain as our first born. We didn’t wait long as we are a dog family and Duke joined us shortly after losing Sadie. We wish he could have stayed with us but we learned there was a different path for him and we were just a foster family until he found his forever home that following summer. In April 2020, we added another boxer, Max, who will be 6 in June. We seem to thrive in chaos and decided to add Charlie, my daughter’s bearded dragon, to the family in Sept. 2023. Nothing better than a crazy zoo 24/7.

Life is quite crazy with the kids in many different activities and school. We are at cheer, tumbling, swim team, flag football and soccer every week. As cheer competition season ends, swim team begins. Soccer and flag football keep us busy on the weekends in the spring and fall. Most of our time is spent at the field, at the gym or with friends and family. We would not change it for the world!
